- Technical data — standard server and security logs from our hosting provider (for example, IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and reliable.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:

Mobile information sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for their own marketing.
We share mobile numbers only with service providers that help us deliver messages or operate our business (for example, our SMS provider), and only as needed to provide the service you requested.
Third-party services
We use trusted providers to run corniea.com. They process data on our behalf and under their own privacy terms:
- Formspree — processes contact form submissions
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless site analytics
- Google Analytics — aggregated site usage and referral data (when enabled)
- Twilio — delivers SMS when you have opted in
- Vercel — hosts the website and related infrastructure
- Calendly — optional self-service scheduling for site reviews
How we protect information
We use HTTPS, reputable hosting, and access controls appropriate for a small business. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we work to protect your information and limit access to people who need it for their job.
Data retention
We keep contact and client records as long as needed to respond to inquiries, deliver services, and meet reasonable business and legal requirements. You may ask us to update or delete information that is no longer needed (see Your choices).
Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe.
- Contact data: email jay@corniea.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you.
- Analytics: you can use browser privacy settings or extensions; Plausible does not rely on cross-site tracking cookies. Google Analytics may use cookies — see Google's privacy policy.
